Dear Encore Families,

We are less than 2 weeks from the start of the swim season! Have you had your swimmer(s) try on last year’s suits yet, or purchased a new suit for the summer? Don’t wait until the night before - these kids grow fast!

New Swimmer Tryouts - if you haven’t yet filled out this form, please do so - you will find tryout information included as well.

First day of practice: Monday, May 6 at Pioneer High School. Practice times by age group here.

Volunteer Chair Positions: We are still very much needing several of our chair positions filled, including volunteer coordinator, timer and clerk of the course! If you like being involved and are willing, please contact Michelle (408-482-1076) or Kelly (727-244-0962). We can’t make this team run well without help from great parent volunteers like you!  We’ll answer any questions you have and support you as you take on the role. We also welcome co-chairs if there are two up for sharing the role.

Information Session: We are hosting our final virtual information session next Wednesday, May 3 at 7pm. Similar to the others, we will go over information for the upcoming season, share updates on our new coaching staff, tryouts and league meet information, and answer your questions!

Our Team: We are at a healthy team size at this point (~90 swimmers) with 8 coaches on staff. In most age groups, the girls are outpacing the boys in sign-ups, and we could use a few more sign-ups in the older age groups, including the girls 13-14 division. It’s not too late to register! If a new swimmer does sign up and include your name, you will receive a $25/family referral bonus!
